Experience you can Trust

I have an Animal Science degree, with a concentration in Equine Science, from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. I've continued my education by earning a certification in Equine Rehabilitation, and I'm an Accredited Professional Farrier. With over 20 years as a rider and horse woman, I'm here to help students!

Practical Tools

This class is loaded with practical tools anyone can use to assess  their horses well being. I created this class to bring evidenced based observation techniques to horse lovers everywhere. Whether you're a trainer, a bodyworker, a farrier, or a horse owner, there is something here for you.

Theoretical Education

I've distilled the latest 2020 peer reviewed research into bite sized concepts anyone can digest and understand. Many people don't have the time to read through scientific studies, or attend educational seminars. I've done that for you! I'm a horse geek, and I want to share all that knowledge with you.

Interested in Hooves? I've Got You Covered!

I'm a hoof geek at heart. I've been looking after horses hooves for over 19 years. I started with trims and then moved into therapeutic shoeing with composite materials. In this program we have an entire class devoted just to hooves. I want horse owners to be able to spot the earliest signs of hoof capsule disfunction so they can prevent issues before they begin!

Lameness Threatens a Horse's Welfare

I created this class first and foremost for equine welfare. The better horse owners are at recognizing lameness themselves, the safer their horses will be.

But it can be difficult for humans to recognize the early signs of movement disfunction in horses. Why? They are great at masking and compensating! Horse owners can sometimes tell there is a problem, but get conflicting advice from friends and professionals. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed. It’s scary when your horse is hurting. I know I've been there with my own horse.

My course promises a step by step, process for recognizing lameness. Plus knowledge of the common causes for equine injury and the latest science and practices to prevent injury. I’ve distilled over 20 years experience as an Equine Rehabilitation Professional and Accredited Professional Farrier into this 5 module course, which promises calm and confidence for horse lovers.
